CCSD Fieldwork Requirement
Students in Azusa Pacific University's MS in College Counseling and Student Development program are required to complete 750 hours of fieldwork in two different higher education settings with fieldwork in at least two distinct settings, with at least 150 hours of supervised fieldwork in each.
Typically, students meet this requirement through part-time Graduate Assistantships on APU's campus and at surrounding institutions. These assistantships are designed to provide a "laboratory" where students can apply and expand their classroom learning.
Consistent with CAS standards, assistantships in two different domains broaden and deepen students' learning. If you are considering an off campus assistantship or are applying to full time positions, please connect with CCSD's Program Director, Christina Lunceford for next steps.
